Fort Lauderdale Police Department
Home MenuPerformance Management
The Performance Management aspect of the Chief’s Office focuses on the development and accomplishment of the Department’s objectives by ensuring that the appropriate initiatives and performance indicators are developed, monitored, reported, and analyzed to meet strategic budgetary and non-budgetary goals. Additionally, research and process improvement is conducted through this position.
Performance Management administers the yearly Community Survey and analyzes survey data to produce a report on the concerns regarding our police department. These reports assist officials in improving the services provided to residents of Fort Lauderdale. In addition to the community survey, use of force data is analyzed and reports are produced in an effort to provide transparency for the community and identify areas of need. These reports are available below.
For questions regarding this aspect of the Office of the Chief, you may contact Senior Management Analyst Wesley Acosta at WAcosta@flpd.gov.
